Swan Garden Project
We are thrilled to share some of the amazing pictures of the plans for our outside space. We have long dreamt of an outdoor sanctuary for young people and families, and it is now starting to come to life.
Pete has spent months consulting with our service users about what they want and how they want it, and has weaved all of the ‘wants’ into the most beautiful outdoor space. The hard work now starts with sourcing funding to make it happen and the physical transformation
This space will nurture all of our groups and individuals and will be used year round to:
- Engage with nature
- Learn about growing
- Offer volunteering opportunities for D of E
- Relax and ‘be’
- Learn to outdoor cook
- Learn new skills (cutting the grass, harvesting fruit/veg, growing plants)
- A place to meet others and work alongside
- Support mental health and wellbeing
