Community Liaison

Our Community Liaison post spreads the word about the project and extends our engagement geographically and through raising awareness.

All local schools are offered a range of workshops and assemblies over the academic year. We link closely with staff to deliver appropriate, targeted information for subjects like:

• Transition
• Mental Health
• Anti-bullying week
• Friendships
• Internet safety

Louise also attends Parents Evenings and events in local schools, letting everyone know about our services and making important links with local stake holders. We also link with many local businesses, who generously give their time and resources for the benefit of our young people.

Alongside this, we host an annual Project Prom event every February for year 11 and 13’s to access high quality and affordable Prom clothing. This is one of the highlights of the calender and is a real feed good experience for all involved

We  link with local businesses and organisations regularly to provide opportunities for our young people and to look at creative ways to raise funds for the project. Our community have been amazing in supporting us in all sorts of ways, particularly:
