At Swan Youth Project we work in a Trauma Informed way to see each young person as an individual – we do not use a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
Our aim is to make every person attending feel a part of our project, a belonging that maybe they don’t feel in other places.
We notice if someone is missing, we notice if someone is sad or a little bit quiet, we don’t let anyone just ‘float under our radar’. We are so privileged to welcome everyone through our doors and it is our mission to make everyone feel a little bit special.
Knowing what our young people like and what would help them to feel safe and settled is vital to our service, so please share any information that you think may help us really know and understand your child/ren.
We are also here for your family and can provide support for lots of situations like signposting to services, supporting you in meetings, being a listening ear.
You can contact us:
- Monday 8.30am – 6pm
- Tuesday 8.30am – 6.30pm
- Thursday 8.30 – 6pm
- Friday 8.30am – 6.30pm
We will always offer you a time to come and chat things through over a cuppa. Having the time and space to off-load can be really helpful in moving a tricky situation forward.
